Screen Receipts does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your screen time data never leaves your device.
Screen Receipts uses Apple's DeviceActivity framework to read your screen time usage. This data is processed entirely on your device inside a sandboxed extension. Per-app usage data cannot leave the extension process. This is enforced by iOS, not just our promise.
There is no sharing feature in Screen Receipts. The app has no share button, no share sheet, and no upload. If you want to show someone your receipt, you take a screenshot the same way you would with anything else on your phone — that screenshot belongs to you and to iOS, and we never see it.
Nothing is uploaded to us and no link is ever created. This is a consequence of the architecture, not a policy we could quietly change: per-app usage is readable only inside a sandboxed extension that has no network access at all.
If you opt in, Screen Receipts reads sleep, workout, and mindfulness data from HealthKit to show correlations with screen time. This data is cached locally in the App Group container and never transmitted.
The app has none: no analytics SDKs, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, no ad networks. This website counts visits from standard server logs.
